Slip Resistant Aluminum Tread Plate Types
Jun-06-2025
Slip resistant aluminum tread plate is a anti skid material with strong practicality and excellent performance. It is widely used in various fields due to its excellent anti-skid performance and durability.
The classification of slip resistant aluminum tread plate can be comprehensively distinguished from two dimensions: pattern design and alloy material.
1. Classification by pattern shape
(1). Five bar aluminum tread plate
- Structural features: The plate surface presents five parallel concave and convex patterns, and the angle between adjacent ribs is 60-80 degrees, forming a willow-like appearance.
- Performance advantages: high anti-skid coefficient (friction coefficient ≥ 0.6), the price is 15%-20% lower than similar products, and it is the most commonly used slip resistant aluminum plate in China.
- Typical applications: building stair treads (thickness 2.0-4.0mm), truck compartment floor (3.0-6.0mm), ship deck (5.0-8.0mm).
(2). Lentil-shaped patterned aluminum sheet
- Morphological features: dense lentil-shaped protrusions are distributed on the surface, with a height of 2-3mm and a width of 5-8mm, forming a uniform anti-slip surface.
- Applicable scenarios: cold storage floor (need to withstand low temperatures of -30℃), workshop operating table (required to bear a load of ≥2 tons/㎡), elevator car (thickness 1.5-3.0mm).
- Process characteristics: thicknesses range from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch, and they can be cut to standard or custom dimensions.
- Typical uses: medical device housing (need to be impact-resistant), high-end equipment outer packaging (thickness 1.0-3.0mm).
2. Classification by alloy material
(1). 1060 aluminum tread plate
- Performance parameters: purity ≥99.6%, tensile strength 80-100MPa, general corrosion resistance.
- Economic positioning: The lowest price (about 18 yuan/kg), suitable for occasions with low strength requirements, such as warehouse pads and temporary passages.
(2). 3003 aluminum-manganese alloy checkered plate
- Material characteristics: manganese content 1.0-1.5%, tensile strength 110-130MPa, rust resistance better than 1060 series.
- Typical applications: truck compartment floor (thickness 2.5-4.0mm), ordinary cold storage floor (resistant to mild moisture).
(3). 5052 aluminum-magnesium alloy checkered plate
- Core advantages: magnesium content 2.2-2.8%, tensile strength 210-230MPa, salt spray corrosion resistance up to 1000 hours, hardness is twice that of 1060 aluminum tread plate.
- High-end scenarios: ship decks (need to be resistant to seawater erosion), subway car pedals (anti-slip grade R10), food processing workshops (acid and alkali resistance)
Application areas of slip resistant aluminum tread plate:
- Industrial sites: widely used in factory workshops, warehouses, mechanical equipment platforms and other areas that require anti-slip.
- Transportation facilities: used for pedals, floors, stairs and other places of cars and ships to enhance safety.
- Architectural decoration: can be used for decoration of walls, ceilings, floors, etc., which is both beautiful and practical.
- Household items: in some home environments, such as kitchens, bathrooms and other places, anti-slip aluminum patterned plates can also be used to improve safety.
